Spring in the Valley Tickets


SPRING IN THE VALLEY- tickets now on sale!


A month long festival in October 2010 – With a double anniversary as Spring in the Valley turns 21 and Oktoberfest celebrates its 200th anniversary.

This October visit Perth's Swan Valley and experience the gorgeous landscape, unforgettable meals, world class musical performances, must do activities, and of course, the taste of the beers and wines.  All of this and more is on offer at  ‘Spring in the Valley 2010' – this year celebrating its 21st anniversary!!!!

The Swan Valley is Western Australia's (WA) oldest wine region and has earned its reputation as Perth's Valley of Taste.   Situated just 20 minutes from the Perth CBD, the Valley seduces visitors with a rich fusion of wine, food, art, scenery and nature. You can experience its many wonders along the award-winning Swan Valley Food and Wine Trail – a 32 kilometre loop taking in more than 150 attractions including wineries, lively breweries, fine restaurants, bustling cafes, distilleries, shops, accommodation and roadside stalls selling fresh local produce. The Swan Valley is a world of surprises just minutes away from Perth's doorstep.

Spring time is definitely the best season to visit the Swan Valley. The festival calendar for ‘Spring in the Valley 2010' offers visitors a vibrant mix of entertainment, the arts, live music and local produce every day of the month, at more than twenty different venues across the region.   The venue operators have planned a feast of premium activities and world class offerings that will spoil you for choice. 

The Duckstein is offering the following Spring in the Valley Events....

Oct 30th ROCK N ROLL NIGHT with THE ZODIACS 6 to 11pm

OKTOBERFEST 2010 - 200 years

 To commemorate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig I  to Princess Theresa in 1810, Bavarians held their first Oktoberfest in Munich.  To continue this fine tradition- brush off your Lederhosen and Dirndl and head for the Duckstein Brewery. The Duckstein Brewery lies in the heart of the Swan Valley on West Swan Rd. and is a fantastic venue if you are looking for a more authentic German Oktoberfest. Featuring German-style craft beers; Pilsner, Hefeweiss and Festbier. There will also be a range of wines and champagnes to help celebrate this fun day out. Bratwurst & Pretzels are available for hungry revellers. 

Live music can be heard throughout the day with traditional music from the 6-piece Dolomiten Polka Band and party music from Alan Stewart's Band. There will also be traditional dancing and Shuhplattler from the Rhein Donau Club's  Edelweiss Dancegroup and a cowbell-ringing performance by Echo der Berge. Plus a range of Oktoberfest games and competitions with prizes to be won.

Saturday 30th October sees the return of THE ZODIACS featuring Perth's Rock n Roll Royalty in Tony Tyler and Reg Carson.

The Duckstein Brewery rolls out the dancefloor for you to show off your latest dance moves. A fantastic night to bring down a group of friends and participate in a more laid back Spring in the Valley event. Tickets are now on sale for only $40 which includes a BBQ dinner which will be cooked to your liking by our team of chefs. These are available from Heatseeker or the Duckstein Brewery, Swan Valley.

Buffet night- 8th Oct

Family buffet night with kids entertainment. $45 Adults, $16 for children under 14 and free for kids under 5.


Family day- 9th Oct

A day full of family entertainment - kids face painting, balloons etc.
